October 6th!

Here is how our morning went:

C requested her Dora tracing book.

J learned alphabetical order. He had to put his spelling words into alphabetical order.

C worked on transferring different color beads to different bowls. She worked with tweezers (which she was thought was so silly! She laughed and said "Mommy! This is for eyebrows!") She started with the black and white beads, then red and yellow, then green and blue.

J worked on his reading comprehension during this time.
Shortly after her transfer project, I popped on a DVD for C.She won't be 3 until next month but she loves the songs and practicing her alphabet so I knew she would like it.

She only budged to get off the couch and sit on the floor.

Meanwhile J finished his reading comprehension and drew a picture of him and C sharing an apple!

He also asked me where does food go when we eat it. So we whipped out this puzzle given to us by a friend and fellow homeschooling mom. J learned a little about the esophagus, the large intestine, small intestine, and pancreas.
After that we went to a local play place where they ran themselves tired!
