My princess is 4!

We recently celebrated Caitlin's 4th birthday. She is growing up so quickly! For her birthday she requested a shopping trip, a new outfit and shoes, food, and a cake. She got everything on her list! Including her odd breakfast request of a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese and jelly with a side of bacon!

She has been so excited about her new boots since she got them last week. I made her wait until her birthday to wear them. To pay me back she woke us up at 6:45am to put them on!

Co-op

We recently had another library co-op where the kids worked on the water cycle.

They made a storm in a cup.

 They also worked on a craft explaining evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and collection.

Nature Walk!

We recently went on a nature walk. The trail has a drop off on each side, so needless to say, I had several mini panic attacks whenever the children stepped off of the pavement!

We saw several bluejays.

 We hit the 1 mile mark and stopped for a picture before heading back.

We stopped to see if there were any fish, but there wasn't.

 We saw what looks like a foxhole.

Altogether we walked 2 miles, and the kids had a ton of fun!

Despite my paranoia, I absolutely love days like this. I am so grateful for the opportunity to homeschool my children and watch them as they learn. Lots of times I am right there learning alongside them.
