Nature Walk/Scavenger Hunt
Our last nature walk was a bit of a disappointment since it was such a short trail. We decided to go to a place we went last year. This time May printed out a scavenger hunt for the kids.
We saw all kinds of interesting things.
This little guy paused with two arms up and posed for us!
The kids found everything on their list except for a squirrel. Jayden really enjoyed himself but Caitlin had a fantastic time. She excitedly pointed to everything she found, including animal made holes.
We also saw a dead baby bird.
Altogether we walked 3 miles! The kids KNOCKED out that night and BEGGED to stay home the following day to rest. Successful nature walk: check!

How sweet! I love the shot of them walking down the path together and the one of them gently exchanging a snail. That's funny that they passed out at night and were just exhausted the next day; that's a sign of a good time! I think there might be a nature walk in my near-future!
