Leapfrog, Reading & Swimming!

I put on the alphabet leapfrog show from Netflix and the boys decided to join Cait!

I’ve also decided to start implementing a 30 minute a day reading session. I had Jayden read aloud to Cait & I. Caitlin tucked in Woody to hear the stories too.

I even caught him reading to himself!

We also had swimming this week. It went pretty well!

The boys also got in trouble for walking in the shallow end when they were supposed to swim all the way. Alex called them back and made them swim again!

Cait spent her time playing on the bleachers even though I kept telling her to sit down.

Tuesday

The little lady started her day in time out for jumping on daddy’s chair while I got our things ready for school.

We started out with Language Arts.

After she did her time, Cait watched Super Why while J worked.

Jayden requested “hard subtraction” today. I looked for a hard worksheet- one with lots of numbers but no regrouping since he hasn’t learned that yet. This was his face when he saw the sheet:

He only got two wrong for silly mistakes! He did the entire worksheet in 10 minutes!

Next I introduced the spelling words for this week.

Cait decided she wanted to do some work and wrote her name.

By the time this was all done, it was lunch time so we stopped here!
