April 8-14

I have been very busy and have barely had a moment to myself to update the blog so there are a TON of pics coming up!

During this week we went to see their very first musical, Seussical the Musical. It had several different parts of Dr. Seuss stories, but mostly focused on Horton Hears a Who.

Then we stopped at the Lakeshore store and did a craft. The kids made cowboy boots out of paper bags and decorated them.

Someone was pooped after our long day!

Swimming is going well! Jayden got his "report card" and is borderline ready for the next and last level- Guppy. But I decided he will be doing one last round as a polliwog to build up some more strength before swimming for 45 minutes without any floats on.

 Miss Scarlette was very kind and allowed Cait to join the children in the pool during playtime so that we could gauge her readiness for swimming. I think she is *almost* ready but not quite yet.

 We had co-op class where the theme was Recycling. The children helped to make new toys out of old things we found in the house. But of course, co-op started with show and tell. Cait brought her cat and Jayden brought his Optimus Prime.

 Then the kids made (and ate!) "dirt" cupcakes!

 Cait also asked to do some worksheets so I happily obliged.

And last but certainly not least, we enjoyed a movie and lunch date with Hayzel, Olivia, and Owen!
