Playdates, swimming, coop and new setups!

A LOT has happened this week!

First we had a playdate in the local indoor playground with Olivia, Eric and baby Rachel.

 J & C were thrilled to have lunch here!

 They got their faces painted- J had a picture of the Earth done on his cheek and C was "Lorax"

J resumed swimming this past week. He is so excited that Hayzel was in his class AND most of all that swimming is now early in the morning so daddy gets to join us!

Minutes before we entered the pool J lost his second top front tooth! This is him now! I absolutely ADORE the missing teeth! He already had a lisp prior to losing his teeth, but it is SO obvious now!

 We hit up a park to expend some energy. We met up with Carolyn, Olivia, Eric, Vanessa, Vinny and Rocky.

 J made friends with two other little girls at the park.

 At one point the above two little girls tried to convince J to join them in a hollowed out fake tree trunk. I was not pleased so I convinced him to join us on the swings where I pushed him for at least 20 minutes so that the little girls would leave him alone. LOL! Thinking back, it totally could have been innocent, but in this day and age you never know.

On Friday we had our very first homeschooling coop. The purpose of this coop is hands on open ended learning and socialization with other homeschooled children.

 

It was SO much fun! We made traps and pulleys. We learned about different knots too.

 We all sat in a circle and did show and tell.

 

Angry because we all clapped when she was done LOL!

 

Jayden had the train run over the dinosaur while spiderman got trapped!

Grace made a bed for Jaydens doll Max

Caitlin stabbed a carton box, then ripped it to shreds!

We will also be doing another coop at our library. We requested (and were finally granted permission) to use space there 2x a month for formal classes! We start in April and get to continue through until June. There are also 2 chalkboards. If it works out we will request to continue!

 We also bought a new desk and chairs for school! Here is our new setup:

Next week will prove to be another busy week! We will be doing a craft at the library, movie (going to see Aladdin), swimming and a playdate at Carolyns. We are also putting together our ideas for the next hands on coop, which we will be hosting, scheduled for Jaydens birthday! 13 more days until my baby is SIX!
